Jumping into Path of Exile’s Crucible league can be a real rush, especially if you’re itching to mess with fire-based builds. There’s something satisfying about watching whole packs go up in flames while you’re standing in the middle of it. If that’s your kind of fun, you’ll probably end up looking at skills like Righteous Fire pretty quick. It’s still one of the best ways to dish out constant burning dmg without even swinging. Pair it with ascendancies like Chieftain or Inquisitor and you’ll handle the self-burn a lot better. Throw in supports like Burning Damage, Elemental Focus, maybe even Increased Area of Effect to push that PoE 1 Currency skill’s range so you can roast more enemies at once.

Now, not everyone likes to stand in one spot. If you’d rather be smashing faces up close, melee fire setups can really hit hard. Ground Slam of Earthshaking is nasty when you add fire dmg into the mix. You’ll need Fortify Support so you don’t get flattened in melee fights. After that, slot Melee Physical Damage Support to crank up the base hit and Burning Damage Support so every slam leaves an ignite ticking. It’s a fun combo that can clear a lane fast while still keeping you beefy enough to handle incoming hits.

Cyclone’s another classic if you like movement and constant contact. There’s a certain joy in becoming a spinning wall of flames. Link it to Fortify for defense while you’re in the thick of it, add Melee Physical Damage Support, then Burning Damage, and Elemental Damage with Attacks. The big upside here is those physical hits roll a solid chance to ignite, so you keep stacking burn dmg without slowing down. Plus, spinning through packs feels amazing when everything behind you is still burning out.

If you’re leaning more toward staying back and blasting, skills like Fireball or Flameblast scratch that itch. Controlled Destruction will help ramp up raw spell dmg, and Combustion’s handy for lowering enemy fire res so your hits bite harder. Critical builds can tack on Increased Critical Damage to make those ignites really spike. There’s also the trap and totem route – Flamethrower Trap for area denial or Flame Totem for steady single-target pressure. However you go, the trick is getting your ignite chance high, pushing your burning dmg as far as possible, and finding ways to punch through resistances. Do that, and with a bit of practice, you’ll be setting the whole map ablaze quicker than you can pick up a Poe 1 Divine Orb.
